Tom Cruise Suri is his date at Friars party

Tom Cruise had a cute date at Godiva and the Friars Club Honor: daughter Suri. The 49-year-old actor was honored with the Friars Foundation’s Entertainment Icon Award. The proud father carried his 6-year-old daughter in his arms.

“Suri is precious. Tom brought her as his date! He brought coloring books and crayons for her”, one source told Us Weekly. Suri wore a long pink dress for the occasion.

Father and daughter were accompanied by Cruise’s adopted son with ex-wife Nicole Kidman: Connor Cruise. The 17-year-old teen was present at the event to support his father. “Suri loved being in her dad’s arms, and when she wasn’t there, she was in brother Connor’s arms. Suri and Connor also decided to hide out in a back corner of the press room to watch their dad work the line [of reporters]. It was very cute”, the source revealed.

Tom Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes didn’t attend the event. Nor was his 19-year-old adopted daughter Bella.

“[Katie's] in China working. The women are all working. So Suri is my date this evening. Suri, thank you. My son Connor is [also] here. You guys really inspire me”, the ‘Rock of Ages’ actor said.

Suri is Tom’s only biological child with wife Katie Holmes.
