Roger Federer welcomes twin sons in addition to twin daughters
Roger Federer has become a father for the second time. But, the same way he did it the first time. Father of twins. The Swiss tennis pro and his wife Mirka Vavrinec, welcomed their second set of twins on May 6.
“Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening. #TwinsAgain” and “#Miracle”, he wrote on Twitter.
The 32-year-old champ and his wife are already parents to twin daughetrs Myla Rose and Charlene Riva. Federer withdraw from this week’s Madrid Open on May 5 just to be next to his wife. “I’ve decided to withdraw from Madrid to be with my wife Mirka during these next few exciting weeks for our family. I apologize to my fans and hope to be back in Madrid next year. I’ll be training near my home, and am excited to rejoin the Tour soon!” he wrote on Facebook.
Federer and Vavrinec met while competing in the Summer Olympics in Sydney in 2000 and married in 2009.
