Katherine Heigl Takes Newly Adopted Daughter to Visit Friends

Katherine Heigl finally stepped out with her new adopted daughter. The 33-year-old actress and her 32-year-old husband Josh Kelly were seen in Beverly Hills, California the day before Mother’s Day. The couple visited friends on Saturday, May 12 and carried their new daughter in a car seat covered with a blanket.

The former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actress was dressed up casually in cropped white pants and wedges.

Last month, her representative confirmed the pair had recently adopted their second child. No more details on the adoption have been given so far. All we know is that Heigl and Kelley have another daughter. But we don;t know her name or where she comes from.

The couple adopted their first daughter, 3-year-old Naleigh from South Korea in 2009. Naleigh was 10 months at the time of her adoption.

“Josh and I started talking about [adoption] before we were even engaged. My sister Meg is Korean, and my parents adopted her three years before I was born. I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea”,  Heigl told Scholastic Parent & Child in February.

33-year-old Heigl met Josh Kelley on the set of his music video for ‘Only You’. They become engaged in June 2006. They were married on December 23, 2007 in Park City, Utah.
