Kate Hudson sons spend Christamas in Colorado

Kate Hudson is a mother of two and she loves to spend the holidays with her family. Anxious to celebrate Christmas, the 33-year-old actress gets into the holiday spirit earlier than most people.

“My gift-giving is very personal, so I start really early, usually around October. I love making gifts or finding just the right thing for someone, so I like to give myself plenty of time”, the actress told Access Hollywood.

Kate’s family will be joined by her mother, actress Goldie Hawn. Kate knows her mother will buy her “yummy cashmere scarves from Ann Taylor”.

The whole family gathers at home in Colorado. “The whole family comes — my brothers and all of the kids. At some point during Christmas, we all get together and do that. The kids ice skate and people drink hot cocoa”, she explained the Christmas tradition. What Kate loves to offer and receive as a gift? “Gifts with sentimental value attached to them, especially something that is handmade”, she said.

Kate is currently engaged to Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. They are parents to 17-month-old son Bingham. Kate is also a mother to 8-year-old son Ryder from her previous marriage.
