Kara DioGuardi welcomes baby boy Greyson James Carroll
Kara DioGuardi is a mother! The former ‘American Idol’ judge and her husband Mike McCuddy welcomed a son. The baby boy arrived via gestational surrogate on Thursday, January 31.
Greyson James Carroll McCuddy weighted 8 lbs., 10 oz. and measures 20 inches long at the time of his birth.
42-year-old DioGuardi suffered numerous miscarriages and failed IVF attempts in the past. In the end, she and her husband decided to go for surrogacy. “She’s given us an incredible gift”, DioGuardi said of their surrogate.
DioGuardi served as a judge on ‘American Idol’ for its eighth and ninth seasons. She and McCuddy got married on July 5, 2009.
