Jared Padalecki and his wife Genevieve Cortese are expecting their first child together.
“OK yall I’d rather you officially hear it from me. So, yes. Genevieve is pregnant. We’ll be welcoming a new member to our family in 2012″, the actor wrote on Twitter.
The 29-year-old even joked about the news. “Hey guys- I’ve been hearing a lotta rumors and getting a lotta questions so I’d like to go ahead and say that OF COURSE I’m not pregnant!” he also wrote.
Jared and Genevieve met on the set of ‘Supernatural’ in 2008 when she played a demon named Ruby and he played Sam Winchester. The two got engaged in January 2010 and tied the knot in Idaho on February 27 the same year.
