Jacqueline Laurita son has autism
Jacqueline Laurita revealed that her son Nicholas has autism.
Laurita welcomed her son three years ago. After one year and a half, Nicholas began regressing with his speech and motor skills, then refusing to answer to his name.
“We had no idea what was going on”, the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ told People. When she found Nicholas was autistic, she knew he wouldn’t be independent.
“I spend all my time researching what we can do for him”, the actress explained. “You never want to think that your child isn’t perfectly healthy. We didn’t want to believe it was true”, her husband Chris added.
Jacqueline Laurita is also a mother to Ashlee, 21, and C.J., 10.
