Halle Berry pays child support to Gabriel Aubry: $20,000 a month

Halle Berry hasn’t won the custody war against former boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Actually she just lost a battle.

The 45-year-old actress has been ordered to pay Aubry $20,000 a month. According to TMZ, the money she has to pay in child support are just an addition to nearly a quarter of a million dollars a year.

“Our issues were never about fighting for her. We both know a child needs both her parents. But what I want to say about it is sometimes, as a couple, you reach an impasse. We needed a court and a judge to help us work out some of the delicate issues … because for her sake, this is the best way. We both love her more than life”, the Oscar-winning actress said last year.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry split in April 2010 after dating for five years. They are parents to 4-year-old daughter Nahla.

Currently, the actress is engaged to actor Olivier Martinez.
