Elton John became a father for the second time on January 11, 2013. Now, the singer and his partner David Furnish are ready to share the first photo of their second son,  Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John.

The baby boy was born to the same surrogate his big brother Zachary Jackson Levon was born two years ago.
Baby Elijah was introduced to the world with a photo published by People magazine.

“We tried to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We were excited at the prospect of Elijah’s birth as we were at the prospect of Zachary’s — but much less nervous”, 65-year-old John told People. “I would say we feel more secure in our parenting skills now — it’s far less scary than the first time ’round!”, added 50-year-old Furnish.

As for the surrogate, the couple thinks “she is a wonderful, kind and loving woman”, who’s “part of our family”.
John and Furnish entered into a civil partnership more than eight years ago.
