Here’s the proof that Elle Fanning‘s tattoo was a fake. Last week, the 14-year-old actress shocked everyone when she showed off an unicorn inked on her tummy. But that was just a fake.

Yesterday, Elle was seen in Los Angeles wearing a bra crop top that exposed her midriff and a pair of high-waisted yellow green shorts. Elle matched the ensemble with blue sandals and minimal make-up. It looks like the tattoo had washed off.

The actress went to see her sister Dakota for lunch. The 18-year-old older actress appeared in a nude-coloured floral dress with yellow wedges and sunglasses. The girls’ mother was also present.

Earlier this month, Elle received the award for Breakthrough Performance for her role as Alice Dainard in ‘Super 8′.

Elle recently finished filming 1960′s film ‘Bomb’. She will also play Princess Aurora in Disney movie ‘Maleficent’, starring Angelina Jolie.
