Ashlee Simpson loves Maxwell Drew

Ashlee Simpson reacts to her sister’s deliver. Jessica Simpston gave birth to her baby daughter Maxwell Drew yesterday, May 1st.

“Jessica has wanted to be a mom since we were little girls and I couldn’t be more excited for her and Eric”, aunt Ashlee told People.

Little Maxwell Drew (named after the maiden name of Jessica’s mother, Tina) weighted nine pounds, 13 ounces at the time of her birth.
“Bronx and I are in love with Maxwell already”, Ashlee added. 27-year-old Ashlee is a mother for 3-year-old son Bronx with former husband  Peter Wentz.

The two started dating in 2006 and confirmed heir engagement in April 2008. They married at Simpson’s parents’ residence in Encino, California. Two weeks later, she confirmed her pregnancy. On February 9, 2011, Simpson filed for divorce from Wentz, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce was finalized on November 22, 2011.
